Betting is the most entertaining and exiting part of poker and poker is mainly focused on the betting sequences. In most of the primary poker games like Texas holdem there are a total of four betting rounds which includes the opening round, the flop, the turn and the river. The betting in the opening round with your clay poker chips is based on the hole cards which are a pair of cards that is dealt face down and is viewed only by the concerned players.

After the opening round the flop which is the first community card is dealt based on which the players bet their clay chips once more. After the flop the next community card the turn is dealt by the dealer which also contains a betting round where the remaining players who did not opt for a fold get the chance to bet and the betting continues in the next round where the river, which is the final community card dealt. The betting ends in this round with a show down and the player with the strongest hand would win the pot.
