Expectation value for every player is based on his own planning and depends upon how much he wants to win and how much he is able to lose while playing with poker chip sets. Although many people pretend and don’t want to agree with all this, poker decisions are based on mathematical calculations.
All poker situations and the decisions taken while playing with poker chip set have a value especially when you are playing for money. Sometimes players know this value even. They know that their expectation of calling is simply by counting the pot. However this type of situation is found rarely in regular games.
Most of the time it is difficult to calculate the expected value but the mathematical calculations still exist there. You cannot overlook it; it is always there when you play with poker chip set. It can be changed and influenced depending upon your requirements and needs, but in no way goes away. Players are not aware of this fact and most of the time they take right decisions for wrong reasons also.
