Some players would argue that No Limit texas hold em poker games don’t require development of skills. This really isn’t the case these players just hate to work harder. One common argument I hear is that it’s impossible to prepare because every situation is going to be different. They argue that because the game is so luck based that wasting any time away from the table is just that; a waste. They argue that they’ve seen players who know nothing and have never even played at a live poker table rake in large amounts of chips.

This is actually a pretty ridiculous point of view. Development is important. Because while it’s true that poker hands are like fingerprints in that no two are the same, the game isn’t just about the technical hands. The physical fatigue factor alone presents a rock solid argument against this point. Even if two hands were technically exactly the same, it would likely play out differently if a player had been sitting at the same table for 10 hours then it would if he had been sitting there for just 10 minutes.
